T-Media's Goals and Roots

T-Media is a research firm based in Finland whose goal is to help organizations measure and develop their most valuable intangible assets—trust and reputation. T-Media’s roots lie in the Finnish scientific community and interdisciplinary research. In 1997, three students—Harri Leinikka, Petja Partanen, and Ari Nykänen—founded the company, dreaming of the future Aalto University.

Over the course of more than 20 years in business, T-Media has conducted over 2,000 Reputation&Trust in more than 40 countries. The company has served all Finnish universities, successful startups, respected family businesses, international publicly traded companies, as well as industry associations and public administration. In 2020, T-Media was ranked among Finland’s 100 most successful companies in Kauppalehti’s assessment, demonstrating the company’s strong position in the industry.

T-Media's Commitment to Quality and Development

T-Media is constantly committed to quality and interdisciplinary expertise. Although the company is small, it has always focused on product development and analytics, even during times of global crisis. Riku Ruokolahti, who served as Head of Development, has provided steady leadership and helped the company listen to its customers and stakeholders, analyzing and creating new solutions by combining best practices from academic research with his own observations.

T-Media has collaborated with the Economic Information Agency TAT and Sanoma Media Finland, and although the company sold its original media business in 2018, it remains committed to developing its research operations. The company aims to monitor its clients’ reputations more closely and comprehensively across various stakeholder groups and countries. T-Media utilizes its own database, which enables more advanced analytics and impact assessment. The company continues to engage in dialogue with its clients to continuously improve its expertise and services.
