T-Media is a pioneer in the market research industry, focusing on measuring and developing an organization’s most valuable intangible assets: trust and reputation. Our goal is to help companies and organizations develop their management in a direction that is more sustainable for stakeholders and society. T-Media was founded in 1997, and during our more than 20 years in business, we have conducted over 2,000 Reputation&Trust in 40 different countries.

Our roots lie in the Finnish scientific community and interdisciplinary collaboration. T-Media was founded based on a student’s vision, with the encouragement of Paavo Uros, Rector of TKK. Our founders’ expertise combines technical and commercial sciences with the arts—in the spirit of the future Aalto University. Our first goal was to bring universities, the business community, and students together. T-Media has served our country’s universities, startups, family businesses, publicly traded companies, and the public sector.

T-Media is strongly committed to quality and interdisciplinary expertise. Although we are a small company, we have always prioritized product development and analytics—even during global crises. Our Head of Development is Riku Ruokolahti, who has been working in the industry for three decades. We listen to our customers and stakeholders and combine basic academic research with best practices and our own insights. This allows us to offer our customers impactful and effective solutions.

T-Media is also a co-owner of the Economic Information Agency TAT, which operated from 2009 to 2015, and Sanoma Media Finland. This allows us to focus even more effectively on our research activities. We are an entrepreneur-driven company with a shared focus, framework, and direction. Through our research, we verify the business impacts of reputation and develop organizational leadership toward a more sustainable direction from the perspective of stakeholders.

Our Outlook

We know that we are just getting started. We are tracking the evolution of our clients’ reputations across an ever-growing number of stakeholder groups and countries. Reputation&Trust and expanding database form the backbone of our operations, enabling more advanced analytics and impact research. We will continue to engage in dialogue with our clients and leverage the specialized expertise of our staff.
