During the webinar, we congratulated the Emergency Response Center Agency, the Border Guard, and the Office of the President of the Republic as Finland’s most reputable public administration organizations. We also congratulated the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland and the Ministry of the Interior on their impressive rise in reputation. We also examined what factors influence stakeholder trust and how trust in public administration has evolved in recent years. Participants in the discussion included Archbishop Tapio Luoma, Director of the Emergency Response Center Taito Vainio, Rear Admiral Tom Hanén of the Border Guard, VTT’s Director of Marketing and Communications Jenni Santalo, and Fintraffic’s Director of Strategy and Communications Mikko Saariaho.

We surveyed the reputation of public sector organizations in October–November 2023, and a total of 9,932 Finns responded to the survey. The Emergency Response Center and the Border Guard, which tied for first place, had a reputation score of 3.91. The Office of the President of the Republic came in third with a score of 3.86. Reputation&Trust, a reputation score is calculated for each organization on a scale of 1–5 across eight different categories.
